If tender workload is high or simply to manage overhead costs, Kidd Civil Consulting is here to help. Our team of construction professionals is available to work with your Estimator to manage the full tender process or assist with specific aspects of the construction method such as:

  • Temporary works concepts

  • Technical construction methods

EARLY CONTRACTOR INVOLVEMENT

Early Contractor Involvement can be used to gain early advice and involvement from a contractor into the buildability and optimisation of designs. It affords an integrated team time to gain an early understanding of requirements, enabling robust risk management, innovation and value for money. We are well versed at managing this process and will work with your client and their designer to manage the ECI phase of their project and hand over to your delivery team and ensure ongoing support throughout the delivery phase.

We offer construction planning services where we work with your project team to help remove roadblocks to project delivery. By assisting with specific scopes of the project delivery which require time and attention to detail we add focus allowing the project team to oversee the day-to-day project delivery. This allows them to be reactive to the inevitable challenges that present themselves during project delivery while ensuring complex tasks are completed such as;

  • Technical work planning

DESIGN MANAGEMENT

Successful design and build contracts start with a robust design process that ensures that the design meets the principal's requirements while offering value for money, safety in design, constructability and keeping to budget.

Allow KCC to manage this process ensuring the D&C priorities triangle between principals, designers and  constructor is objectively managed and a best for project result is recognised.

KCC can also manage the design of your project's temporary works. We work with your delivery team to ensure that their needs are met, ensure that designs are issued in time to meet your procurement schedule and follow the Temporary Works Procedural Control Good Practice Guideline. 

SUSTAINABILITY & ENVIRONMENTAL

We see clients' focus on the sustainability aspects of their projects continually increasing, requiring the parties involved to contribute to the delivery, particularly, of positive social and environmental outcomes.  With the New Zealand Government's target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050, climate change mitigation and adaptation are high priorities.
